My point was that the reason the HMRC only states that it's illegal in the UK is because the document is only intended for a UK audience. They're only concerned with what comes in and out of the UK.

NO UK LAW IS INVOLVED HERE.

nothing has changed. The original law on snus in Sweden (the no exit of it is allowed) is being enforced

Exactly, and if that means we have to get it from the US, then so be it.

It might not be as fresh with all those air miles, but at least customs can't touch it.

I am chilled but they are both in EU.... and the ban comes from the EU, it's not that UK makes the laws or anything
            nope.

Lithuania is in the EU, snuff, snus, chew, and everything that you can't smoke is BANNED, it is written so in law. where else is it like that in the EU?

              OK I'm confused.

If nothing has changed then why did Northerner close down their online store for EU?

The problem is not with the countries receiving the snus, it's with Sweden reinterpreting the legislation in light of the Finalnd business.

We should keep our heads down, buy from whoever is willing to sell it to us, and not poke any wasps nests.

I only asked them how much snus I could buy and they told me none. Precious rang up and asked them the same thing. We were very careful to tell them it was for personal useage. If they tell me that MY snus is illegal since January, and tie it in to the recent problems - yes I get a f***ing major tit on. I get a bigger tit on if Customs don't have a clue what they're telling me.

Moral of the story - FU*K CUSTOMS. Don't bother ringing them - you might as well ring up a fish and chip shop.

There is an old law that says no exit of snus is allowed from sweden to the EU. It just wasn't enforced until a finnish cancer organization said "STOP!" so they stopped.

Ok now the question is ...

If you can't buy stuff online from EU companies

why would EU accept buying snus from US companies?

                          Isn't that stupid somehow?

Hey @brett ... going to sweden for 200 grams of tobacco is not a real good choice.

That's pretty good advice - better advice than the f***nuts that work at HMRC

Ok then again I bet no one is really clear on this ISSUE here....

I am only worried because I don't want to end up losing money that's all. I need to know that I will receive the snus from US.
