Yes, on Friday 1st April. got the package on Tuesday 5th of April (I reside in Belgium). All went without problems, except the post cost UPS express is pretty steep (28E). Buuut if you need it you need it.

I also have a question, anyone from EU that ordered from Northerner lately, what are the taxes appx and how long did you have to wait for the shipment to arrive ? I'm thinking of just ordering few boxes to see how it all goes. but if you have good experience I might order bit more. I'm little scared about no tracking though. I like to know where my snus is at .

I've ordered from Northerner and it's taking longer than I expected,about 15 days since my first package was shipped (same taxes as before)

I'm new here, but I've been doing some research, with some results! It will take a moment to explain...

(1) I emailed Swedish Match to find out what was going on. Johan Wredberg replied by email: "To Swedish Match’s knowledge a number of internet retailers have recently chosen to review their Internet sales of Swedish snus to countries within the European Union." This was not what I had heard from Northerner US, so...

(2) I challenged Wredberg directly, saying: "Northerner can clearly supply snus from the US to the UK. But not Swedish Match's snus. Logically, it can only be by reason of a request from Swedish Match to Northerner that they have stopped supplying your products to the EU. Is it the case, or not, that you have requested Northerner to stop supplying your snus to the EU, even from their US depot? A simple "yes" or "no" will suffice."

(3) Wredberg replied this morning, admitting: "Swedish Match has requested online retailers to ensure that snus produced by Swedish Match is not being shipped to recipients in an EU country directly or indirectly. That is correct. It has also come to Swedish Match knowledge that online retailers may have been conducting activities that are violating Swedish laws. Thus, it is fair to assume that one of these two events or in combination are the reasons for various online retailers decision to review their operations."

(4) Meanwhile, I passed Wredberg's comment at point 1 above to Northerner US, who commented: "Why they told you that I really have no idea... They banned their brands to be shipped to EU last week. About the rest of the situation we are trying to get more information, but we still don't know if this will be permanent or temporary, so for now we ship from the US to EU."

So, Wredberg and Swedish Match have been caught out being 'economical with the truth'. This is all very bizarre, and can only be a knee-jerk reaction to the threat of action by the group which set the Finnish action going, or a similar group. Meanwhile, I'm signing the petition, and will be trying to source non-SM snus to the UK from the US!

Following my last post, I have now replied to Wredberg:

"Thank you for finally being honest about Swedish Match's part in this.

You say online retailers "may have been conducting activities that are violating Swedish laws".

(1) I'm not sure how this can be the case, since your snus has been supplied to me from Sweden for years now.

(2) In any event, how can the actions of an online retailer in the US (Northerner US) be in violation of Swedish law?

(3) And what laws do you have in mind, exactly? Please expand on your very vague allegation..."
