Not that this effects me too much, but i do want to point out that all the general products i receive here in the states from northerner.com are branded "not for sell outside of the u.s." or "for sell only in the u.s."

It could be that the FDA and the u.s. government has a law regarding sell of tobacco products outside the u.s. and swedish match in particular is trying to break into a very large u.s. market and doesn't want to rock the boat... If they can't sell to the EU they HAVE to get a foothold in the U.S. of they're going to loose a great deal of money and be cut out of two of the largest markets in the world.
