You in the UK?

You can bring as much as like provided it's for personal use and all taxes paid in Sweden. Anymore than 3kg and you might have some explaining to do! but as it says in the link the are no limits. Other countries I do not know, try your tax office. Also as far as I know it is only illegal to sell snus in the EU (Sweden excepted) but legal to use.

Ant66Ant - Yes, from a couple of orders that UK members placed to the Northerner US warehouse one was not charged by customs and the other was charged VAT + an £8 RM handling fee I believe which he was able to pay online and the postman delivered his package a few days after that as normal. So whether you're charged by Customs or not is a bit random but even if you are it would be no more than ordering it from Sweden and paying their taxes.

Of course with anything ordered from Sweden you pay any taxes in Sweden at the time of purchase and nothing to pay this end.

I had one order from Northerner and one from snus.de, both came through customs fine, no charges. However, the reason I didnt have any VAT to pay was probably because of the small value of my goods ( i usually just order 4 tins at a time).

@superfuzzy - Just fyi...You would only be looking at possible Customs charges if ordering from outside the EU (eg. Northerner's US warehouse) Anything ordered within the EU you pay the taxes up front when you make the purchase in the country of origin (eg. EU taxes)

Only thing that I can really accept in that article is that snus should not be consumed by underage kids, on the other hand we have massive amount of underage smokers, it is probably still better if they use snus...

Can't you buy it from the good old USA and have them ship it across the pond? That's too sad... From Sweden to the US back to the UK... Strange days have found us...(the doors)

i probably could but i would be worried about brining in what was my usual shipments from the us i would probably get stung hugely on tax

mind you ive found a site that still stocks snus X so im happy just have to hope they ship to the uk
