Snus Freshnes

I found that General, Skruf and Offroad products remain the most fresh even after almost 12 months being refrigerated.

(I believe all products made by Swedish Match are somehow preserved better in the freezer)

The loose snus it's a little dryer than normal though...........................Also Ettan Loose just isn't that good anymore after it's been refrigerated 10 months..... it dries up faster ...... the taste isn't the same..... same goes with Roda Lacket, Odens and Gotlands.



Bottom line, I've noticed that General, Skruf and Offroad products are preserved best (even Offroad Loose, it has the same moisture and taste as it had 10 months ago)

Which one have you found to keep it's freshness best?

N&J...it's Swedish Match but that stuff has a good bit of ammonia in it still after a year on ice. Grov too. I'd guess it's from the humeticants(sp) used. There is something there to preserve the moisture. One of our snus brewers might be more clear on it than I am but I think there's science to it.

There's not much I enjoy more than an overpowering blast of ammonia from the freshest snus I can get my hands on.
