biggest order yet...weigh in.

OK, about to make biggest {3rd} order yet:

General Onyx, thunder original minis, Grov loose, General long, Thunder coola, more ettan loose/OP, more Grov OP, Grov svart, Gotlands grey/green, Gellivare (based on reccomendations), Skruf (if I can find it), phantom brown?.

Problem is, I started snus to get away from dipping/nicorette and wanted something I could use all day discreetly, even in the OR/talking to patients, etc...but I've found I like the loose the best by far...better taste, smoother, just all around better. Do any brands have comparable portions to the loose taste? Love the Ettan and General loose. Anyway, anyone want to weigh in on what else I should order based on above selection? I want to find a daily portions snus and save loose for home. Thanks.

Lös is always different than portions, they're really almost 2 different products. Lös is snus, and portions are... Something else :^D

Hmm... I guess that's it. There's others I like, but I really don't use them. Also, some are no longer being made :^/ Ya know, I tend to prefer minty type snus as portions. It just works better for me. I don't use much mint anymore, but when I do, I prefer it in portion format.

For a reference, I'll list my top 6 favorite lös, again, only brands that are currently available...

Phantom brown is delicious. If you never had the los try it...you may find yourself taking it to work it holds up so well.

Thunder mminis are really good for snusing incognito but get expensive for every day use.

Jakobsson/Gotland make delicious snus. The portions are more fuller and straddle the line of white/ op really well.

Get the Gellivare....delicious and Landstroms as well.

If you like General try Granit. I have no real comment on either (i don't use either) but that's what I read a lot of people who like them say.

Knox is the bargain brand of Skruf...I don't like Skruf but you might and you might like Knox.

You might want to try the Northerner minis. Discreet and has 6mg nic...but boy does it hit fast. I am not the biggest fan but they have their following.

Portions aren't really my jam though.

Don't know why they're different, but they definitely are. Sometimes subtly, and sometimes drastically, but always different. I can't agree on the Grov. That's actually one that's pretty close to the lös. Rich and smoky, but no bergamot or pepper like General. It's been awhile since I've had General though. It's never been a favorite of mine. It's usable for sure, but never a first choice.

If you're going to use my portion list, keep in mind there's a lot of mint in there, as well as a couple weird flavors. I like all of them a lot, but I make no guarantees for you :^D New fangled flavors like mint work better for me in a new fangled tobacco pouch. It just seems to go better. I'm more traditional with my lös choices, and wouldn't necessarily like those in lös form.

I would also throw in Phantom Blue Los and Phantom Brown Los

And last but not least do yourself a favor and get yourself at least a can of General Extra Sterk Los

These are good, especially if you like sterk's. I use them at work all the time... you get 26 portions/can as well. Thunder Frosted Long + Strong is quite delicious also.

I would definitely recommend Jak's Strong mint as well... I've been fiendin' for that stuff, definitely going to get a roll of it next time. The portions are a bit big though.

Ettan and Onyx are great in the portion variety. If you haven't already give pioneer lös a shot. It's making its way up my favorites list rather quickly.

thanks everyone for the insight. Defiinitely going to add Phantom brown los, skruf ES los, General ES los, general onyx, general long to next order. Found that I love los the best but still on the hunt for the perfect portion during the day when I can't have the loose. Have high hopes for onyx.
