Snus Mishaps

Tonight at work, I brought along some Pioneer Snus (can't get enough of it) and for whatever reason, I decided to see if it packed like a can of dip. Apparently, I didn't have the lid on tight and it went flying everywhere. I just sat there in shock and awe at my misfortune. Luckily, most of it landed on the table, which I just scraped back into the can. I didn't lose too much, but I had snus in my hair and even had some fly up my nose. Let me tell you, this sure is no nasal snuff. After a 10 minute sneezing bout, I finally got it all cleaned up. At least the breakroom smells good...until someone heats up those fish sticks in the freezer.

Lesson Learned.

So any other snus mishaps happen to any of you?

i spill snus juice on my rug every other day. i only gut the juice if i'm in class or drinking something just a dip habit.

I like Pioneer as well but I do think the can could be improved upon. The top on my first can fits very loosely and if I pick it up by the lid it comes apart just by the weight of the snus. Perhaps someone could point them in the direction of a Gotlandssnus can.

I had a hell of a time opening the can in the first place, but the lid seems to be quite thin. I agree with the Gotlands cans, those things snap on tight and secure. It was a little strange when I first had a can of Gotlands since it had no paper/plastic label around it. Turns out, those cans are the best though, at least in my opinion.

I was at a bar a few weeks ago and while I was showing someone what snus portions looked like my drunk ass spilled them on the floor. Fortunately I always carry two cans and the porions I had in the catch lid were okay to.

I fell asleep the other day for a nap with a nicely sized prilla of General ES...woke up laying on the side of the face where the prilla was located...it had mudslide and was all over my face and pillow. My friend NikkieLove washed a can of Felinni Mini Mint the other day...complete loss.

At school I was showing someone how snus works and demonstrated putting a General Onyx under my lip. Now I already had a nice sized prilla of Bla in my mouth and kept the Onyx in knowing I would regret it. Now I don't know if the steak sandwich I had for lunch was disagreeing with me but after about 20 minutes through maths class I started to feel odd so I removed the portion from my mouth. the teacher was talking about x over y equals z to the third or something and I was beginning to feel worse so I thought I'd put my hand up and ask if I could get some water but the teacher was ignoring me. I was sweaty and my head felt heavy and my tung was beginning to swell and I knew that I would throw up any moment but the teacher still ignored me!

About five minutes later the teacher stopped talking and asked us to continue with our work sheets and I quickly walked to the door and as soon as I closed it behind me I vomited a bit in the bushes in front of the class. Feeling a little better I went to get a drink and wash my face but before I could reach the next bin I vomited some more in the bushes. I look up and there is this girl sitting at a picnic table - studying - seemingly unaware of my existence. And then I got a drink of water, washed my face off and went back to class and continued with my work. I don't think anybody suspected anything.

I do get headaches and nausea from overdoing snus as well. I can never gut more than 10 portions or 10 prillas per day.......... now I'm at 5 portions or 3/4 decent sized prillas.

Same here. One of my first ever tins of snuff. It was Toque Original. I opened the can and the whole thing fell on the floor, snuff side down. There was no saving it. : (

I've noticed General Portions are a lot easier to open than the other tins I have.

Jakobsson's is probably the hardest to reopen, then Grov, then Thunder, while the General tins both reopen easily.

I grabbed a 25g tin of Toque Original by the top once, and the lid wasn't all the wa on and it fell snuff side down on the hardwood floor, I scraped as much as I could back into the can and I'm still using it to this day haha.

I pack all tins of loose before making a pris with my Icetool. Instead of holding the side of the can and using your finger to tap the top, grab the top and bottom of the can and use your finger to pack against the side of the can. This works much better IMHO.

I tend to use that method for dip when the can is getting empty. I guess it's definitely the safer way to go.
