Why I like Loose More

Never got the chance or thought to open an Genera Onyx bag but I did it before wiith a lot of brands, Skruf, Offroad Coffee/Vanilla, Ettan, General OP and a few others......

The stuff inside the pouches is so delicious nothing like when you'd use it in the portion. It's hilarious how much difference the stupid portion makes both the buzz and the flavor.

General Onyx has tons of aromatic stuff in it...... it's amazing when you open the portion up (but there's so little in there, I normally have a prila at least 5 - 6 bigger than what is inside each portion.

Agree, los is way better. Once I tried opening general wintergreen but it burned my gums so I haven't fiddled with opening portions much. When I'm home I only use los and use portions when out. Sometimes I'll have los right before I leave but cleaning my teeth is a pain outside the home.

Loose is awesome. I would use it all day if it weren't so greasy. Easier to throw a portion in than to start baking in class for example. But loose wins without competition when it comes to flavor and nicotine hit.

I want to try loose. So you get a pinch, mold it with your hand? How hard do you compact it? What does 'baking' mean, I've always assumed it was warming it and compacting it with your hand. Then just pop it in?

Also, once it's under your lip, does it tend to break apart? I'd probably have the urge to keep spitting.

It's not as hard as it sounds, the more you bake, the easier it gets. I prefer portions most of the time myself, but usually have a can of los open as well.

You just press it so it holds together more or less. Very easy! Just place a pinch in your palm of your hand and press it. Later on, you can just take a pinch straight out of the can and move it directly under your lip. Then correct it with your tongue.

You can make a big pris or small pris depending on what you like.

It's all a matter of personal style. I don't make my prises nearly that big. The best thing to do is try it. It's easier to see what it's about by doing it. Lös is pure win. I prefer it almost 100% of the time. The only time I don't is when I'm doing strenuous work. I tend to clench my lip, and destroy my pris.

It's a lot like PlayDough I think, and you can make it as big, thick, or whatever shape is best for you, trial and error. It can break apart, and do the mudslide. I often have a spitcan just in case. Usually if I make it too big, it will break apart. Portions are easier and cleaner, but I do agree the taste of loose and the smell and essence of it is better. I don't like how it mashes in my teeth, and can break apart, so after a use I have to rinse my mouth and even brush my teeth some, which makes me reluctant to use it out and about, as it's a hunk of black mess in my mouth and between my teeth. But my usage is rather small, in that, I just use it at home, maybe 3-4 times a day. I think the term "bake" maybe a Swedish term, maybe it means "mold", or "form"?

Hey everyone! haven't been around for awhile because I have been so busy with life haha.

I have taken a complete switch in preferences since I was on here last. Before I would only use portions and I wasn't a big fan of the loose, but now I'll take loose over portions any day! I have gotten to the point where i just take a big pinch from the can and throw it up under the lip, and i think this is a big reason for the change in preferences for me. I am too cheap to buy an icetool, and I usually don't have time to bake so that's why i stayed away from loose at first. Does anyone have any good recommendations for a really good los snus? I am going to put an order in sometime soon, the gas station buy my house sells general loose so that's the only one I have tried before.
