Jaks Classic Strong Portion Nic Content

Does anyone know the nicotine per pouch for this snus? Just some websites say it's 12mg and others 14mg

The rumor is it is 9 mg/g but the high ph makes it hit like 14 as far as I know.

Hi didn't mention that, only that the warnings on the cans were just to satisfy the FDA as the brand is intended for the US market. Maybe he might comment more here?

I'm only curious because I've got a roll of jaks coming from the US, and it's the first time I've heard this about a snus having a higher pH level.

... In the begining of making the JAK. Strong we had a lower nicotine content and a higher Ph! This was an idea for seting new grounds in the catagory (STRONG)
What does strong say? is it strong in taste? is it strong under lip? is it strong at an flavor perceptive? Nicotine?
So we made an product with high in Ph so the nicotine and flavor could be delivered faster then ordinary Strong products.

This didn´t work out the way we wanted since the consumer didn´t understand the idea!

So we did a change to the product very fast in the beginning and changed the tobacco recipe to a higher Nicotin content!!

Today the Jak. Strong is at 14mg/G in nicotine and the Ph is aprox 8.5

Feels like a 10-12 to me..nice nicotine hit and it hits relatively fast.

High Ph, lets say 8.7-9.0 is ok in the mouth! it wount be any problem in the tooth gum.
Most of chewing gums have a Ph at >8.7.

Very high lets say about >9.3 can caulse damage to the tooth gum!

If you have a high in Ph in Snus >8.7 the nicotine will be delivered faster in the blood stream (Nikotine kick).
the avarage in Swedish snus portion Ph is 8.3-8.5 this make the product to deliver a nicotine in a even stream, and you can have the product longer under your lip.

In indian brands like Gutkha and Chaini khaini and so, they use calcium hydroxide in the products and it get th ph up to over 10!
Calcium hyroxide is illigal to use in a foodproducts in Sweden! We use sodium carbonate (E500) with is commenly used in alot of food products all over the world!

It would be a good info for you... The Jak. Classic strong contains a very samll amount of sweetener in it, so you know.
This was from the evaluation we made at a thousend americans who shorlisted that flavors to the best!
Else, it is a good flavor lookalike to similar classic snus products.

Those Americans that wanted sweet snus should be rounded up and put into "re-education" camps. That way, they can be "gently" shown the error of their ways, and the vigorous exercise would help clear their minds, and bolster their spirits.
