Can anyone Open the Montecristo Loose Tin?

I bite my nails. I cant get the dang tin open to save my life. should have put an indent like pipe tobacco tins have. Nice tin though. Good snus too.

The metal tins are quite sensitive to damages. Mine also was slightly damaged but could be opened and closed easily. That was just bad luck with your tin, I guess.

Oh wait, maybe my tin could be opened easily because it was damaged . Since I don't plan to order Montecristo again, unless they change the bergamot-flavoring, another member certainly could tell more.

    Cheers!

That's what I had to do and it worked for me.

It seemed harder to open when it was cold (unlike the Lucky Strike tins), so you might try warming the can in your hands for a bit before trying to open it.

I think the fact that the can is thin makes it harder to open as well. I'd imagine that if the two parts of the can were larger, like a can of Lucky Strike, it'd be easier to open. But since there's not much surface area on the sides of the can to get a hold of, it's kind of a pain to open.

I used a guitar pick to open the can the first time. Now I've figured out the whole twist and pull thing. Works fine.
