Portions that have a terrible taste after the first 30 minutes or so

Jakobsson's Icefruit - can't describe it, but a nasty, nasty taste after the initial flavor burst. That to me, ruins the entire experience. Such a shame too because I like the first burst of flavor from Icefruit, just wish it would last...

i had the same with jaks icefruit .. pulled a portion from the freezer and it turned bitter on me quick .. now i did have dry mouth at the time so that could explain it .. every portion ive had since hasnt been bad tho.

Jakobsson's Classic Strong. Horrible bitter taste at around 30 minutes. Most portions you will experience a nasty taste at around that time period sometimes but with the Jaks Classic Strong its an all the time thing. Gotlands just makes some bitter snus. Not a huge fan.

some people like that bitter twang. I never was partial to Jakob's snus. Icefruit never agreed with me.

My dad still buys tonic water with quinine. He acquired a taste for it and it doesn't bother him. I think it tastes like aspirin.

So, it's really one of those personal preference kind of things. If you grew up on it, or like that type of thing, then go for it. It's probably a more natural tobacco experience. Most other snus has stuff to cover up or take the edge off the bitter twang.

Jak's is top quality stuff, but I prefer other brands to taste.

Taboca portions turn bitter after 30 minutes. I usually don't encounter this problem with other brands.

I love Jakobsson's Classic Strong, just not the icefruit. I'd give the CS a try.
