Most Expired Snus You've ever Opened?

I just opened a can of General White, (which is on sale for being expired at the time I bought it) that expired on 10-12-2009. Taste is a little muted, but still good snus!

January 2008. I have a bunch that expired around that time. They're all fine. Maybe not as good as brand new, but still quite good. I currently have a tin of LD Blue open. Not only is it still good, it's probably one of the last tins on earth :^D

I have tins of Triumph mints that are about 4 years old that I have kept vaccum sealed and in the freezer. I recently opened a tin and it was as fresh as new. I also had some of the monticristo and Romeo & Julietta snus stored away for the same lenght of time. Those 2 tins were open when I vaccum sealed them and put them away. They were fine also.

Sealing and freezing fresh snus is the way to go. However if you buy snus thats already past the best by date then it has already lost some flavor etc. because the suppliers do not freeze it.

so snus beyond the best by date is fine if it was purchased sealed and frozen while it was still fresh and was properly cared for by the buyer.

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

Yea, they taste about the same when I got them. I'm just amazed that they are still good after so long.

Hell almost every tin I open expired in 2009! That's standard procedure around here, the Snus Pact armegeddon locker is still stuffed full of all kinds of exotics that were bought dirt cheap and shipped for free, Ah nostalgia, They were vacuum packed and kept at 8 below, I think they have suffered little if any from the experience. Although on a very sad note I just placed my Last Lucky Strike portion in my lip. Moment of silence please, so long old friend, you will be missed.

Opened a can of Red Rocker a while ago that was pretty expired, don't remember the date though. A few months back. Still tastes good!
