I lost a job once because my boss stuck his head inside a steam dish cleaning machine, right after I told him not to, and right after he pushed the safety lever back,the shocked look on his steaming face was so freakin funny, that every time he walked by I would see that image of him and just start losing it. I mean I would get convulsive laughter! I almost shit myself laughing while he fired me, I will never forget it. Some things are just too funny!!!! And he had to fire me because I could not keep it together around him, eating lunch around him was impossible, he did us both a big favor.

A question to GN Tobacco:

Getting down to the technical side of snus production actually (but we'll make jokes later, for sure.. I promise).... I always wondered why SM snus (any SM snus - Ettan, General, whatever) has such a short shelf life compared to snus from other producers like you or V2 or even Skruf. Does the problem lie in traditional cardboard cans SM is using? It would sound logical to me that plastic can seals and protects the snus better than cardboard... What is more, I noticed a significant DECREASE in actual shelf life of SM snus after they reduced the quantity of snus in a can from 50 grams to 45 grams in 2007 (after there's been a tax increase on snus on Sweden). Both flavored and unflavored brands lose most of their bouquet and much of the nic hit as well two, three weeks before they formally "expire". I would assume the looser the snus in packed in a tin the more "unstable" it becomes... am I right in assuming this?
What are your recommendations, as a snus expert, regarding long terms storage of Oden's snus, apart from what is generally known - keeping it refrigerated, et cetera. Which of the Oden's brands are best suited for long terms storage (I also think this depends on whether it is fine grained or course snus).
Can I safely put some of my stash towards a rainy day and freeze it... will it taste the same once defrosted or what changes are to be expected?
