    a new snus

Swedish Match will be launching a modern, attractively priced alternative, Kaliber, to accommodate consumers who want high-quality low-priced snus.

“Kaliber is a straightforward portion-packaged snus for price-conscious consumers who are unwilling to compromise on quality,” says Markus Eileryd, Product Manager for Kaliber.

Kaliber will be available in stores in the week commencing on April 11, and in original and white portion formats. The products will be produced according to Swedish Match GothiaTek quality standard and will have a popular tobacco flavor with a hint of citrus.

I was asking the same question. Perhaps Kaliber won't have dill flavoring, which is a plus for me. If the price is low enough and it tastes decent, I may switch to it.

Yeah, you get what you pay for. Something's got to give with a lower price. Still, it's righteous to try and who knows...one might like it. After all, I switched to Grizzly dip 'cos of price and I found that I actually enjoyed it more than Skoal. Much more.

The only low-priced snus I really liked so far is Knox, though Phantom is not bad...the los anyhow. The others just lacked the satisfaction I got from the more premium snus.

Does anyone know what "low-priced" implies? If they're asking $18-$23 per roll, I may order one... or two.

Ahhhh... Guinness' answer to O'douls. Hopefully Kaliber snus has more flavor than non-alcoholic swill.

It starts in the soil. Before someone even puts a seed in it, soil samples are taken to a laboratory in Sweden for analysis. Swedish Match experiments with cultivation in different countries to achieve the best possible raw tobacco. If declared a good soil for tobacco, seeds are planted and every step in the development and the cultivation of the plant is carefully ...
