My Commitment To Snus

After trying to quit smoking literally hundreds of times and failing miserably I've decided to fully commit to snus. I've dabbled with snus for the last year and a half but never jumped in completely.

I've posted before and even traded with some of you guys and had great experiences. I'm looking forward to hanging out on the boards and sharing in the snus culture.

I'll be overlapping with the smokes for awhile until snus takes over but I'm confident that it will.

Stoked about the order I received from Northerner today.

Picked up some Ettan Los which I'm looking forward to trying.

Also, Thunder Frosted, N & J Strong, and some Jak's classic.

I'm a heavy smoker so the sterks should do the trick, I've heard.

Looking forward to full-time snusing.

Enjoy the snus and don't get bummed when you have a smoke. When I was coming off cigarettes (with dip....then I turned to snus) I was using both for about two or three months until I was fine without cigarettes.

The snus will win.

I'm about to pop in a Nick and Johnny's strong and watch Machete.

I think it will take some time to break my habits associated with smoking. I've read from other converts that it's better not to put too much pressure on yourself to give up cigs.

So, I'll take it easy and not freak out too much.

Bonus: Set up two job interviews today. I think Northerner sent some good cosmic snus karma in my order.

Nick and Johnny is the finest snus IMHO. I quit smoking about a year ago, but will still have a cigarette once a month or so, just for the hell of it and to prove to myself just how awful it is. The great thing about it is that it never sends me back to smoking like all other quitting methods in the past have. Gum, patches, cold turkey, pills - always the same thing. Just one cigarette, next thing you know I'm a full time smoker again. With Snus, you can actually have a social smoke without then running to the store to buy a carton.

I quit smoking at least a dozen times before finding snus. Now, no doubt about it, I am a non smoker for life, or at least until they outlaw Snus.
