    Nicotine Absorption?

So last night I convinced my mom to try to quit smoking using snus. (Smoking for close to 30 years) She has upper dentures which cover alot of her gum in the front part of her mouth. Well, Im curious, where does most of the nicotine get absorbed? Through the gums or through the inside of the lip? If its through the gums she will obviously have to bottom lip it or keep it farther back on the sides.

Most if not all of the nic absorbs through the lip. Tell her to take it out if she starts to feel hot/sweaty or dizzy, as a nic overdose is common for first time snusers...
