Actually, Skruf might have smoke flavor, they just list flavoring in general on my can, whereas SM lists flavorings including smoke on some of theirs...

Nicotine relaxes the sphinctor (yes that is what it is called) that is at the top of the stomach and prevents stomach acid/contents from going up the esophogeal tube. I have acid reflux and that is what I had been told by doctors. Best solution, lower the nicotine dosage or consider other dietary/lifestyle changes that might mitigate the reflux effect.
