Would be cool if it is dip type cut but has the same Ettan lös flavour.

That's my thought they need to have the camel snus style instructions on baking a pris, most americans can't even dip fine cut I've dipped ettan to finish off a dry can and it sticks to your gums and burns in an unpleasant way. I'm sure some people can actually dip it copenhagen snuff is barely anymore long cut than ettan the thing is you have to gut it or else it breaks apart too easily.

I can't wait to see Youtube videos of dippers lower lipping Ettan Snuff. The end result will be hilarious.

Hope it sells. Would love to run into a gas station and buy snus.

I think the "pouches" will be more commonly used. My brother in law (a dipper) likes portions better than los when I give him a tin. He lower decks portions. Same with some other dippers I have given snus to. They like the portions and wont try it upper lip......

Lower decking los is not so bad...but I always dipped fine cut.

Yeah my buddy actually lower and now upper decks portions, I told him you can swallow snus juice and he can but will spit whenever able to he somehow learned to do that with dip like grizzly which is a little disturbing.

I personally think this is a mistake, trying to "rebrand" a product that already has worldwide appeal is stupid. Especially after spending SO much money trying to brand their General line as "snus" here in the US market. The word snus is becoming more and more commonplace here in the US, largely due to RJR and even PM and SM, and I am thankful for that because it makes it easier for me to brand Jak's and Thunder in the US market.

What I'm seeing with SMNA is quite a few "course corrections" in the marketing and branding departments....first they change the cans of General to make them look LESS like dip cans, and now they are changing the word snus to snuff to make it look MORE like dip. What's next, lol?

I will have to admit, even being a hardcore portion guy, I really enjoy ettan los. I would be happy to see it become available around here because then I would be much more likely to pick up a can here and there. I still really don't care for the portions but the los is mouthwatering.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they've decided to bring the brand to the US, but I just think it's stupid to try and rebrand it. It seems they're just throwing ideas against the wall to see what sticks instead of formulating a plan and executing, but hey...who am I, lol?

I'm not fond of the approach either Rick old bean but I'll bet it was born out of frustration with the typical Amurkin's blazing ignorance of real snus. Maybe this will get them some market penetration but it could well be that although they're aiming for the stars they could easily end up shooting themselves in the foot.

mkay? I glad Ettan los is here but they have me confused why they are calling it snuff, they're just going to confuse the redneck dippers.

Next thing you know they'll have users stuffing the whole can in their mouths and making YouTube videso about it.

I'm excited about it and hope it takes off. My gf's folks live near Pittsburgh and her pops always has her bring cheap smokes from NC when she goes up to visit. I may have to arrange some kind of exchange...

I'm kinda confused by the rebranding as well, though.

They NEED to release a sterk brand like general sterk, onyx or nick and johnny. Nick and Johnny Xtreme mint seems practically designed for the american market just call it xtreme frost and you've instantly got free marketing. Ettan isn't a bad brand to launch though.
