But back to topic, I can't stand the taste of mountain dew, more chemical than anything else. So, it's good to know that when nothing else is available I can enhance the taste by the using some goeteborg rape #2

It looks like radioactive urine but it tasted like f'ing heaven!
I've missed it ever since.

Plus I always wondered whether Mello Yello was a copy of it (before the internet) from seeing it on a Nascar car.

Mello yello is similar but a lot better IMHO. I love mello yello, I used to drink it like everyday before school. Mountain Dew is good too though. It's just made by two different companies. Mello yello is by Coca-cola and Mountain Dew is by Pepsi if i'm not mistaken.

I don't think that Ken really meant his post to be taken as it has. I think it was more in fun but he didn't get a chance to reply again before he got blasted. Of course, I could be wrong as I am always looking for the good in people.

Yeah, Mountain Dew has something of a cult following in the States. People who are into it tend to buy by the 12-pack or case, and make sure they do not run out. The caffeine is obviously part of that, but I've never understood it, as Mountain Dew tastes like radioactive urine to me, or at least what I might imagine radioactive urine to taste like. But to each their own. I'm a coffee hound, and have a pot going most all day.

I don't know where I'm going with this thread, but I thought I'd share my thoughts on the subject for the sole reason that it would be selfish not to, because I am really ****ing smart! :lol:
