Charlie Veitch AKA The Love Polics is a Snus User

Veitch is an activist from the UK that protests against the establishment. He got arrested recently apparently because his protest would have interfered with the Royal Wedding. During his arrest he hands the arresting officer a can of snus. (at about 7m11sec into the video)

His main website and blog is here: http://www.cveitch.org/

He would be a good person to spotlight the EU Snus mail order ban. That's right up his alley. He could give snus some needed exposure on the internet.

I do doubt that snus is high on his list of priorities but you never know...

I've followed his YouTube channel for some time and never realized he used snus. Is he out of jail yet for his "thought crime"?

In society you have to go with the desires of the majority.
The Royal wedding was not the time nor the place for protests.
He has the right and freedom to protest at any other time. The royals and the public have the right to their day....in peace.

              Just done some figures

24.5 million people watched it on the BBC
1 million people went into London.

There were (very roughly) 3 billion viewers worldwide.

Britain has a population of 62 million - You've also got a lot of people that don't really care about watching it but really want it to go ahead, and why not.

I would have brought Veitch in for his personal safety - nobody wants to listen to this scrote when everybody's enjoying themselves. I thought the police were very professional - they come across very well. It would have been a different story if he resisted though.
I know a lot of activists because they come and shout at us quite a lot on a Wednesday night. I've no problem saying that they're mentally deranged. However, this Veitch does seem to be one of the more intelligent - his partner's a pain though. Good luck to him in exercising his freedoms in future.

Man, this makes me want to move to the UK. Look how friendly and apologetic the arresting officer is!

"I'm sorry, but I need to search your apartment."
                "I don't have an option, do I?"
                *frowns, shakes head apologetically*

lol - I must admit, I like the way the police do things here.
They're pretty much always polite, until you're not and then all hell breaks loose.
