Free Loose Snus (Diplomat(!), Röda Lacket, Gotlands Yellow)

    Hello everyone.

I have decided that I will only use portion snus in the future for I don't really get comfortable with lössnus. I used to enjoy Diplomat loose but after trying it again I have to say that it is a wonderful snus but I just can't stand the loose stuff in my mouth.

I still have 20 cans of Diplomat loose in stock (and 1 Röda Lacket and 1 Gotlands Yellow) that I want to give away rather than throw into the garbage. All cans were vacuum-sealed and frozen at -20°C (-4 °F) right after receiving them. They are all about one to three months past the "best before" date but since they were stored as described this should not be a real concern.

If anyone is interested in receiving some of this snus, just let me know. I'll offer it *for free* except for the shipping costs. Prefereably someone from Switzerland or the EU because of freight costs and customs but I will of course also ship elsewhere if desired.

    Hello aardvark,

I would like to take it. I am interested in the Röda Lacket, the Gotlands and some cans of the Diplomat. If nobody else would like to have the rest, I would take it as well...
Please PM me your phone number and I will pass by, pick it up and pay you a beer if you like

    Cheers,
    Zeno

Okay, the Röda and Gotlands goes to Zeno, together with some of the Diplomats. This actually works faster than I thought, so if noone claims the remaining Diplomats they might also go to Zeno for this is the easiest way for me...

Even if you think you are sure, save a couple of tins for yourself. In the freezer, they will keep long after the best buy date. I too am a portion guy, they are all my little packaged best friends. But I keep touching back on loose about every 2 months. Won't say that I prefer it yet, far from it. But my appreciation for it goes up each time I return to it. I still have a can if Ettan that is probably 5 months old buried in the freezer. But I Know one night in the next month or so, it will be a real treat.

Hehe, I knew this would make someone happy :-).
I won't take anything for the snus but if you want to send me the equivalent of the freight costs in portion-snus-currency :-), this is of course also okay. I'll PM you.

Yeah, that's what I thought first: the more one tries, the better he'll like it, but my appreciation goes down each time I try it - not up :-(
If I should ever again in my life get the stupid idea to try loose snus I can always order some. Having these cans in my freezer starts to feel uncomfortable each time I open up the freezer - they just don't belong there anymore and should make room for some portion stuff.

Having tried quite a lot of all the available snuses, I think that I am currently going through a period of settling down to a few selected brands anyway. I'll only stock my major favorites in the future, along with only a few tins of some other or yet unknown stuff for those days where you just feel like something really different.

I would love to get my hands on some diplomat, and will happily reimburse you for shipping in the form of portions. Never got a chance to try the stuff.

Well, my can of loose is hiding way in the back, away from the "good stuff". I do understand. I passionately love the portions, but after a few missed attempts, my last loose experience was kinda fun. But even then, I was only using cause I was out of portions and the %$%^&*% mail was slow. Since I have had portions, I haven't tried it again.

As far as the rest... stock a few favorites...good luck with that. Snus flavors keep turning on me, what I liked yesterday, suddenly seem toostrong tomorrow. I spent months trying out different things so I could come up with a reasonable short list and just stock up. Finally, that was what I did. Within 2 weeks, I was panicking, because I suddenly didn't like anything I had stocked up on. So, about $130 later, I have 50 tins in my freezer of a wide assortment. Now, for the moment, I am happy again

If there is any left please let me know. I will pay shipping and also toss you a few extra bucks for the hassle of shipping if you like. Thanks

I've also got about 5 unopened cans of diplomat original portions in the freezer that I don't think will ever see the light of day.

If anyone wants them (especially in the UK as it's easier) then I'd be happy to bung them in the post. As a trade - I'm honestly not that bothered - but if anyone had some N&J los that they didn't want - I'd love to try it before it's complete history.

                        Cheers

Okay folks, here's my decision on who gets the snus. It was not easy and I had to take several criteria into concern:
For financial reasons I have decided against shipping single cans abroad because this would cost as many as shipping six or more cans and would IMO be a total waste of money for the recipient. Second, I have to confess that it's easier for me if I only have to post a few envelopes. My third concern was - after reading harry's post - that people who already know and miss Diplomat should be preferred rather than people who are just curious.
So if you should not be among the lucky ones, please, please don't take that personal or whatsoever.

So, the Snus goes to cigator, harry, prismaster and zeno. And I am truly sorry for the rest of you who wanted to try Diplomat but never got a chance to; maybe that once the snus is in the US someone of the recipients will be willing to exchange some of it ... ?!

Eh, if I never try it, I'll never know what I'm missing!

That's why I think this is a great resource to us snus users, members of the forum taking the time to inform and entertain, but at the same time being truly decent to our fellow snusers. Logic of who got the Diplomat made perfect sense and was fair, I would love to have tried it, seems to have been a fan favorite, but by all means let the ones who miss it reap this unexpected windfall.
