I have found since giving up anything wheat my bowel movements are much more normal. Use to get similar symptoms like Roo with constipation and irregularity etc..

You probably have been tested already for celiac disease but I believe there are way more people who are borderline allergic in some ways to Gluten.

I dont get any allergic reaction from wolfing down a bunch of wheat but I believe it slowly causes weight gain, indigestion, high cholesterol and most of all IBS related problems in the longrun for me.

There has been a lot written about grains being so modified that our bodies just dont recognize it as food anymore but that also can be said about our mystery meat and genetically modified vegetables/fruits.

Newport has got a Red non-menthol out now. I tried one. It was better than I thought it was going to be but nah...one was enough.

Eric, that would suck to have to start using cigs again, but at least it sounds like you are starting to hone in on what works for you so you can stay out of the hospital.

I am not a doctor although I have played doctor before...

I know you have been on and out of the hospital and have had tons of tests but did they check out your gallbladder? I know quite a few people who had mystery gi issues and once tha gall bladder was removed....easy street.
Never the gallbladder but ill mention it to my dr no doubt..

Thanks guys for the kind words I appreciate it! The other day my symptoms were starting to progress a little bleeding etc i felt really weak. Been smoking a couple days and feeling better believe it or not. My energy is back. Ive still been snussing just smoking one every few hours. Once im back to 100 percent I'll stop again. Once the symptoms come back I'll know what to do. It still baffles my mind that cigarettes have one known benefit at least for me. I could of avoided the hospital a couple times if I made the connection earlier. Live and learn.
