    Gellivare Question

I just received a can of Gellivare los and when I opened it, the stuff was super dry as in crumbly, sawdust dry. I couldn't even form a pris using my pris master, it would just crumble apart. Is this stuff supposed to be this dry?? I added a few drops of water to it and that seemed to make it hold together, but then when I tried it out, it tasted what I would imagine dog food tasting like. (I've never tried dog food, but the snus tasted just how my dog's food smells). So what I am wondering, besides the taste, which I realize is a personal thing, has anyone else gotten this stuff and found it to be this dry???

It's pretty dry in my experience. If you're using a snus tool(recommended with this brand), you should inject it into your lip with the tool instead of placing it with your hand. It's loose under lip, but I find it manageable, and I really dig the taste. I find it earthy, with a bit of chocolate, and not at all like dog food(which I /have/ had :^P)

ooo...I like chocolate! Perhaps I did not give it a fair try. I'm definitely going to try it again. I think the smell turned me off before I even tasted it and when I did try it, I had it in my mouth for less than 5 minutes. Thanks for your input.

With gellivare or landstroms, I always add some distilled water to the container. Be careful if you try it, just takes a few drops.

Desirexe, I just tried Gellivare and Landstroms, I had the same experience as you. Mine was kind of like sand in the mouth, even after adding some water. I have read some good things about it, but couldn't get into it myself. One of them, I am blaming the Gellivare since it was the last one I tried, but it could have been the Landstoms, really affected my allergies, that was a first with snus for me, that could be the reason I never got the earthy chocolate taste.
Curious, did yours have a label any where with the expiration date or ingredients? Mine did not, everthing else I have tried had them, not that the ingredients would show anything different then all the other snus, but I would like to know what I had a reaction to.

I have never seen an expiration date on either cans of a list of ingredients (weird) :? but still both of them are what turn me into los snus
