I bought that RYO tobacco from Germany. What I've heard they say it has high nicotine level and quality taste. It had pretty strong taste and nic hit propably. There were maybe 3 different types of tobacco bags. I did like the oriental tobacco which has more aromatic taste.

I had started using snus before that happened. It was $15 a tin when I quit smoking regularly. NAS was still small time when I first used it. It came packaged in ziploc bags, and they gave you a plastic covered paper pouch to carry the tobacco in :^)

Yea, late 80s f I remember right. I didn't use it full time until 94 or so. Drum was my regular brand, but they quit selling it in the USA(Sara Lee(owner of Douwe Egbert) divested themselves of tobacco products). They brought it back under the Republic tobacco banner, but it wasn't as good as the Douwe Egbert product.
