    "Illegal Snus Trade Flourishing Online"

I wonder if we're being watched. If you do any tobacco trading I'd encourage everyone to be careful with who you send to.

    This is retarded.

That's insane. It's not like snus is some sort of drug like heroin or cocaine. Can't you get cigarettes in Finland? WTF is up with countries going batshit crazy over snus? I just don't get it.

Interesting. I don't see the problem is trading between persons for personal use, as long as it's not a business trade I couldn't imagine how they could implicate you. But this is quite interesting.

I'm certain we're being watched, and due diligence is recommended.

I've been thinking about all of this since my PayPal post, and I'm liking the idea of bitcoins more and more. You guys should checkout sgreger's group, and add your thoughts. An anonymous payment system is very attractive, and I think the bitcoin setup is pretty good. It's gonna take a bit of faith that the system will work but that's what we have now using dollars and Euros, right? It's all just pretend money, and we act like it's worth something. The whole project could go tits up, but that's like anything in the early stages. Imo, the gamble is worth it to keep away from PayPal's ridiculousness.

The other alternative is to trade real goods. It doesn't /have/ to be tobacco. We have a worldwide audience, and other places have interesting things that would be cool to trade. Just some food for thought....

There is no law against trading tobacco between friends. What the authorities are worried about is selling quanitites of snus while attempting to skirt the taxes. To sell a roll here and there once in a while is perfectly legal. The only exception would be selling to a minor. Thats my take on it anyway.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

That's American law, and still a grey area imo. Unless you have lawyers, and time, the law's whatever they say it is. What they say it is will always be against common sense, liberty, and our wishes.

If it's for taxes - I can see that. That's fair enough but is that all it really is?
I don't like the sound of it.

The real problem is clueless govts and terrible tax/regulations simple economics if Guy A charges 5$ for this and Guy B charges 3$ guess where the money is going ... not real hard to figure out .. imposing taxes/bans will not stop the majority from doing what they do.. blackmarkets thrive on this.. no wonder Shipping containers full of cheap smokes gets busted in ports daily.. supply and demand

After rereading that article I'm inclined to believe that it pretty much Finland thats worried about black market snus sales. I'm not concerned at this time.

Geez if authorities would know how much we really bring snus from Sweden to enjoy at this side of border they would close the border if they did know
For our authorities: Haistakaa vittu ja hankkikaa elämä!!

How the hell can they stop people bringing snus from Sweden to Finland. That's just impossible and yep - retarded to even try.
If I lived in Finland I'd own my own truck.

The police are probably taking heat from the cigarette manufacturers. Take a dollar from the pockets of the rich, and they will rain a shitstorm down on you like you could never imagine...

That’s a bit disturbing guys and girls. I did notice the key words.

                              Police - crimes - users - trade
