I think ppl on this board are talking about different versions of camel snus. The ones i bought were not in a circle shaped tin, only come with 15 portions and are definitely not minis. I also noticed after trying catch minis, that the camel snus is way stronger probably due to the size of the portion.

yeah, they are a rectangle tin with rounded ends, and they stink.

I've never even seen the circle shaped tins for Camel snus, and I hope I never do.

When camel first came out with their snus they had a perfectly round tin. Now the tins are rectangular with rounded corners.

For what its worth, I read somewhere that the tin changed from round to a rectangle when production moved from Sweden to the US.Comment

I can't be too harsh about Camel Snus. For me, it was a gateway snus that led me to the real deal (Swedish Snus) and this forum!!Comment

Check at the bottom of the .jpg.. "this product is not a safe alternative to cigarettes" though they promote it as a replacement during planeflights.. meh..Comment

Consider that the vast majority of Americans are rubes, and must be spoon fed advertising/misinformation to be "sold" on something.
That, and being repeatedly lied to until they believe lies as truth.
One thing I did enjoy in that giant ad for Camel Snus was the arplane bit, and I personally can't wait until I have a long flight.
Now that I don't smoke, I can join a mile-high-snus club. Look at me, mom, I'm cool.

The "not a safe alternative" warning is actually found on all American produced Smokeless tobacco, it is required by law, just like those funky Surgeon General's warnings.
When I smoked I always picked the cigarettes that caused low birth weights, figured I didn't have to worry about that.Comment
