And you do it quite well! I like the natural subtle flavouring of your products. I prefer them over many other brands with an acrtificial flavour overdose. Thanks, for providing a good alternative to them.
Are there any plans to make the Gothland's Green available as loose?
    ok one more!

I have a lot of people ask me a bout lös grön/fläder/elderberry. why we don´t do it in lös is becuse the flavor dont retain for a long time in loose form! so sorry we will not be doing it in loose form!. we do quality NOT quality (my favourite in portion is Grön/elderberry, in loose Gul)

Jimmy - welcome (back?) to the forum! 8)

Love Gotlands - Gul lös has become my regular favourite and the Julesnus is a great treat every winter. Everyone here is really excited for Jakobssons as well. Thanks for taking the time to share and discuss with us

        Dear Mr. ShareSnusInfo,

May I be so bold as to make a minor marketing suggestion? As I have read this forum of dedicated Snus consumers and true Snus connoisseurs, I have noticed many times people sad at the demise of and longing for the return of a favorite flavoring of Snus. It seems once upon a time, there was indeed a Mandarin Orange Snus, one that was among the favorites of many on this forum and no doubt elsewhere, at least to the point that it gets mentioned about 10 to 1 over any other flavor that has been discontinued.

Now, I do well understand that this was not a product produced by your fine company, though one would wonder why such a popular flavor be discontinued by anyone? I am a fairly new Snus consumer but one thing i have noted myself already is when a Snus mentions " citrus " as a flavoring, its ALWAYS assumed to be lemon, and I am smart enough to understand that lemon is likely used because of ancient time honored traditional recipies thaat are well established and proven marketable.. likely this tradition started as Snus was small batch made locally with " what could be obtained easily " dureing a period in time where bulk transit of any spoilable food product was limited at best.

In this day and age however, the oranges dont spoil on the way to the factory from the market, the world is a much changed place, and while some tradition is almost essential to the longevity of a small company in a world wide market place, one would almost have to consider your companies profound position as a small manufacturer of quality goods over quantity of goods an ideal platform to take a few risks in the " new ideas " line of thinking.

For example, could your company not produce " speciality flavors " keeping with the idea of quality over quantity, made in small batches, perhaps marketed exclusively thru one of the online retailers such as Northerner or Buysnus, something as small perhaps as a batch of 1000 cans to be sold worldwide thru a world wide distribitor. I envision Goatlandsnus Orange =o) and I want to buy it.

Just a thought my friend, you have a captive audience here for as long as your willing to make your presense known, and if theres one thing I've learned fairly quickly, everyone here will try a new product, and be very honest about what they like and or dislike about it allowing you to test market what may at the time seem to be a right winning idea or a total loss prior to mass production and marketing of a new product which in the end only serves to grow your buisness and increase the profitabality of your company while minimizing potential cost and loss due to market failures.

BTW, welcome back to the forum =o)

First off I wanted to say thanks for coming to this great forum and taking your time to share with us. It really shows a lot about your company. I am a big fan of Gotland Yellow los. It's one of my favorites. I was wondering if you guys have any promotional items for sale such as hats, t-shirts, pens, and other things like that? I have always wanted to flaunt my snus habit here in the USA and to hopefully encourage others to take a look at it, but there really is not much out there for snus apparel. Buysnus.com does have some stuff, but you need to purchase enough tins for most of it. Let us know. thanks

I just have to say, I have been on this forum nearly a year now, and I think this must be the coolest thread I ever read. THIS is what it is all about.

Hi there, if I could ask a question.

I prefer a finely ground snus to coarse and I see that both the gul and anise are both relatively coarse ground snus. What is the thought process that goes into the grinding decision? What is it in the production that warrants one grind to another? Is it simply one's own taste in snus as the producer? Do you find that your flavor changes if you tip the grind scale a bit?

Also, I find the gotlands to be a bit on the moist side.

What are some of the decisions aside from flavor composition you have to consider when orchestrating your simple symphonies of snus?

I am a huge fan of your anise and enjoy the gul as my noval snus choice.
