Snus Conversions

Ok.. Maybe you guys know this about me already but I am big on getting people to try out Real Snus instead of the garbage here in the US..

I have "converted" at least 5 people in the last 3 months but my latest targets wife won't let him use Swdish Snus because it does not look like....wait for it... "Bright White Little Fluffy Pillows"

Not to be deterred, I am on the hunt for something that can pass for this...


Any ideas?.... The only thing I can think of that resembles the camel crap that is good Swedish Snus is maybe Skruf Slim White..

That dude's got worse issues than cigarettes if his wife is telling him what he can put in his mouth, especially for frivolous reasons. Some kind of white portion I guess but I barely consider that snus. They just get a pass since it comes from Sweden :^D

The new General Classic Blend portions are somewhat longer and slimmer compared to other square-er portions, if that would make a difference.

In his wife's eyes the "look" of the American types are ok... I think those skrufs are my best bet.. I just ordered a roll but they only had 3 in stock so I cleaned them out.. For some reason Skruf is still having trouble...

Catch mint might work...Part of the problem was she was not only "grossed" out by the look but the smell as well... I gave him crushed ice and thunder berry and that smelled to much like tobacco.. I know..I know..

I've been asking for such since day one ... double-barreling them can get to be expensive!!

Also wouldn't mind some new flavors. Even a new citrusy BOOST would be good.

Tell her we do not know the production standard or any scientific data about American "snus". This is the embodiment of "fluffy white cloud snus" - a big unknown and probably unsafe. By that measure she should want to steer clear of it!

Tell her we know how Swedish snus is made, we know the production standards and balances as well as all scientific data cleary published. It is not an unknown, it is fact.

In summary, fluffy big white cloud snus? Probably dangerous.
Swedish snus? Much safer.

His wife actually sounds like my mom...she didn't mind whatever I used,but she didn't like my dad using really strong smelling portions, and certainly not loose! He started with General Mini Mints, then moved up to regular portions, and now he's all loose, all the time! Dude just needs to work his wife into it slowly...
