I found this on SnusCentral. General Classic Blend Portion Snus
General Classic Blend Portion Snus will appear around September 2011 in the US metro areas of Dallas, Chicago, and Philadelphia.
Classic Blend and it's companion, General Nordic Mint were designed specifically for the American convenience store market; competing toe to toe with Reynold's Camel SNUS and Altria's Marlboro and Skoal snuses. You will not find these products in US tobacco stores currently selling the General round can snus offerings.
I have a can of this on the way, hopefully it lives it up to the General name!

I almost wet my pants last night when I walked into a Turkey Hill in my neighborhood and saw a General sign next to the register. They're only carrying the new flavors, but just the thought of being able to walk a few blocks from my house and buy real snus is great! They're selling the trial packs with 10 portions for $1.89 and each can has a $1.00 off coupon inside the catcher lid. I bought a can of Nordic Mint, and its not bad, its pretty much General Mint with a new name. They did say I was the first person who bought any, though.

My local tobacco shop now has a little fridge with the Gen Nordic Mint, and the other one (The non mint). I picked up a can of the Nordic mint, and with the first one I realized something. Seems General has decided that the US buyers want stuff that tastes like the Camel and Marlboro CRAP that has been in the tobaccy shops. Cause all the Nordic Mint tastes like is diet artificial sweetner. What an awful horrible aftertaste this stuff has. Why do they think Americans want sweet? Yea, I will stick to my Thunder long+. BIG FAIL for General.
