    Chasing the buzz.

This is a post I've wanted to write for a long time.

I see noob's all the time and sometimes even longer term users and especially dip people that occasionally snus bitching about this, or complaining.

    I can't feel a buzz...
    There's no buzz.....
    It's not strong enough...
    Blah blah blah....

    Quit chasing the buzz.

The buzz is the same as you would experience with the up and down and craving phase that people would experience with cigarettes. It's one of the reasons I escaped cigarettes.

Sometimes lack of a "buzz" means you've killed your tolerance.

Fact of the matter is, snus delivers nicotine in a more consistent way into your blood.

If you're constantly chasing a buzz or attempting to get ****ed up on nicotine you will never truly enjoy snus.

Use only sterks? Probably killed your tolerance.

    Simply put, relax.

Sorry for the rant, I just get tired of seeing people complaining about not feeling a buzz with every portion they use.

I more chase the relaxation feeling. Like after a big meal, I'll put in an extra big pris and just lean back. Total bliss.

I lost the buzz from snus rather quickly too. I still continued consumption at a steady rate. Now, nearly five years later I can feel the nicotine with almost every snus. It's a minor shift that's barely perceptible. I can tell that about a year or so ago I started eating more healthily and I ended up enjoying snus a lot more. Maybe that has something to do with it. The feeling of the "nicotine rush" is so slight that it's easily overtaken even by simple things that require mental focus. I don't think that I would call it a buzz, but it's along those lines if only much less intense.

At some point, even with little usage the tolerance level would be high enough that you would need to take in hazardous levels of nicotine. Like any other drug, the buzz is one thing but the physiological happenings are also something to take into consideration. You can die from nicotine. Some guy put like 42 to of them inside of himself. Really? for a buzz? I mean, I do a horseshoe of los from time to time but nicotine isn't the right thing for that buzz you might be lookin' for. Tolerance goes up fast too and large doses of nicotine can't be good for the bp. Chasing the dragon with snus, IMO, will either result in massive long-term consumption, not to mention be expensive, or it will lead to burnout and just dropping it all together. Burnout wouldn't be such a bad thing in that case, aside from the great manufacturers point of view.

All that being said and I love that Oden's Extreme stuff...hahaha

yeah, that s pissed me off. They had to take some nicotine junkie to do everything they could to make snus look as bad as possible subliminally. Deplorable.

                  I feel ya.
                  I don't get a buzz anymore. I don't care though honestly.
I use every type of snus and I just use what I feel like at the time.
I would like to get a buzz every once in awhile, but I don't care that I really don't.

And this is why more and more I am moving away from sterks. I am also slowly phasing out use of the E-cig as well.

I get something all the time because maybe I go so long between usage that my body is just plain happy it gets a fix.

Never get buzz from snus, maybe cause i was heavy smoker (18 years) so my nicotine tolerance has been high long time.
I don't even care about buzz, main thing is that i dont have to smoke anymore. (no smoke since april)

I can understand when you first start snusing that buzz can help you to "feel" that it is working and doing something to make you not smoke. However once certain habits are broken a "maintenance" mode will be more enjoyable to the taste buds, IMO.

I haven't had a buzz from nicotine since 1975 when I first started smoking, in MY OPINION any one who needs to get a buzz probably needs seek out some kind of professional help.
