    The prodigal son has returned

I'm sad to admit that I had slipped back into my Kodiak routine for the last couple of months. I did it for the convenience of picking up a tin at any gas station I came across rather than go to the local cigar shop. Snus came back into my life strangely enough because I decided to pick up a tin of Camel Snus along with my Kodiak. The Camel Snus tasted too much like candy, but ended up giving me a craving for the real deal. This morning I went down to that cigar shop and picked up two tins of General Los. I gave the Camel Snus to a fellow co worker. Once I found my 5ml Icetool I placed that first pris in my upper lip and savored the burn that I missed so much. I just placed the following order from Northerner:

    Lucky Strike, Portion
    Montecristo Snus, Loose
    Skruf Stark, Loose
    Probe Whiskey, Loose
    Phantom Blue Loose Snus
    General Onyx, Portion

As I type this I'm enjoying some General Los and anxiously awaiting my first order of Snus. I'm back and here to stay!

Welcome back, now don't go silly on us again.

You know, another way to handle that problem is just....STOCK UP. I have about 60 tins in my freezer now. I was SO traumatized about 3 months ago in my super poor days, that the one time my Buysnus order was late, I was actually out of portions for a few days. Thank god for the loose I had hiding in the back of the freezer, but it was REALLY tramautic for me. Since then, as I have had more money, I just keep ordering more and more. Have decided that I probably need to stop that for a while and burn through much of what I have before I order any more.

But seriously, the best way to ensure you aren't tempted by that dark side again is just make sure you always have plenty of the good stuff on hand.

Hey i noticed it says you live in the midwest US. can you let me know if you receive the montecristo los? I been thinking about placing an order for it and trying it, but been getting mixed messages whether northerner will actually send it to the US. let us know for sure. thanks

Also welcome back to the snus world. I know I could never leave.

Sagedil - Thanks for the advice. I think this order will be the first of many for me. I'll still support my local tobacconist and supplement my supply between orders with the General Los. I guess I should be happy that I can easily obtain Swedish Snus locally.

PrisMaster - I have my fingers crossed. I'm really looking forward to the Montecristo Los. I'll report back when my order comes in.

PrisMaster - My Montecristo arrived with my order. So far I've only tried the Montecristo and the General Onyx, I'm happy to report that they are both as good as everyone says they are. My only fear is that I won't be able to get Montecristo again and all I'll have is the memories, which is why I'm savoring every Pris as if it were the last tin on earth.

That is the main reason I have yet to try Montecristo or Romeo y Julieta.
