So I got my 'sample' of creamy wintergreen last week and have finished the can. First of all I would like to mention my experiences with other odens snus. I have had odens kanal sterk, and thought it was pretty decent but I didn't care for the taste of the tobacco used. I have had odens extra stark original los, and more recently portion, which came as 3 of my mystery cans a while back from getsnus. I didn't recall likeing the original los much (even though it had been a long time), and had that confirmed when I tried the portions. Honestly I couldn't finish a can.
Odens extreme when it came around, I ordered a roll of it blindly even considering my past experiences and found it to be the best natural snus I have ever had. I still order it regularly. Obviously I am not a big fan of the products offered by gajane, but find the gn products to be leaps and bounds better. So creamy wintergreen, when I first saw gn mention it I was pretty much like 'what the hell?' So obviously I had to try it when he offered samples.
I can definately say there isn't anything else like this out there, so will do my best to describe it even though I have NOTHING to compare it to. The wintergreen part of the name is a bit misleading. You can smell the wintergreen in it, but you really can't taste it per-se, more of sense it in the mix by the tingling sensation it gives, and if you focus on it you can taste it lightly, but it is not a major part of the flavor. The creamy part is where the flavor is. It tastes like a very rich vanilla cream flavor. I don't know how gn pulled this off, but it really tastes like dessert. Strangly, to me the flavor does not come from sweetness, but from how rich and creamy the flavor is, almost like it is made with real cream. This isn't something I would personally use all day, but a few times a day it is a fantastic break from the ordinary. You can have desert any time you want without fat and calories.
I hope the rest of you get your samples soon because this stuff is realy something unique and good.
