I like to break up that baccy goodness so it is all soft. Never thought about the seam being an issue, but it makes sense.

One exception: Northerners are so flat I just pop them in
and let my tongue work its placement magic. Now, that's
first-class discreetness!!

I give all my portions (white and original) a little pinch to loosen the snus up a bit, as they tend to come out of the can a bit too flat and compacted to be comfortable.

Maybe it's just me but sometimes i like them flat and compacted as the suction to my gum that way.

It's the opposite for me, if they are too flat, they don't fit into my snus pocket and hang over my teeth/gum line.
