Is snus *good* for a sore throat?

Wouldn't snus inhibit the growth of bacteria given it's slightly basic pH?

Hmm... Somehow, I woke up out of nowhere with a sore throat yesterday. It's unlike any sore throat I've had before. It's more like, up in my nasal cavity rather than down my throat..

Thats an intresting question... I really don't know the answer, but sometimes when i have had sore throat and used snus it has helped.

Not sure tbh. I don't think I've had a sore throat since using snus. I don't know if that's a positive for snus, a negative for cigs, or what, but no throat complaints here.
