haha, if Vikings really did use snus i don't know. Snus is originally from sweden, so i asume you'd have to ask a real Svensk Viking. btw, how much is it for a can of loose snus in the us? Do they sell it at the grocery store? In Norway on can of General Løs (most common one) is 80 NOK.

Præll, how many years have you been snussing? And what is the art to pasteurizing snus tobacco when making snus?

I'm bored, so i migth as well share my snus history.
At the age of 14 i started with snus, Röda Lacket løs. The reason i choose RL løs was because it super easy to bake (?). After getting used to baking i coverted to the migthy Skruf stærk løs. I completly ruined my gums. Then i had to start with posjonssnus (in norwegian snus-slang prefferd to as diapers or bleiesnus) because it was a lot more convinient at school. Mostly i used General potion, Skruf Stærk potion or general extra sterk potion.

Now i don't use løs snus as often as before. I'm using General sterk long potion or The lab series 02 in present day.

I can't stand snus with artificial flavors like Thunder, Mocca and Catch.

FYI, flavored snus isnt popular at all in Norway!

I don't have a clue how snus is made, so i can't answer how its pasteurized. I've been snusing for about 7 years now.

It has to be General Løs, Grovsnus and Ettan loose. General potion, Skruf regular potion and general ekstra sterk potion.

                        Welcome to snuson!

My question: Is it true that Norway doesn't really exist and was only made up to scare little children, much like stories about trolls and monsters?

Yes, thats true. The tales of trolls has been transfered to the INTERWEBZ nao...
Det ser ut som du kommer fra Odense, Danmark. Da vil du ikke ha noen problemer med å skjønner hva jeg skriver heller da? Er det sant at danmark bare handler om Porno, pølse, tuborg og flate landskap?

Alt er dritt dyrt i Norge :P ( Godt at ha flere nordmenn her da - Er Dansk, men biologisk norsk)
But wondering, how would you bake the perfect pris? I'm having a great deal of problems actually.. And I can't seem to get it right - is there some trick to keeping the snus from falling apart when baking it that you have picked up over the year?
Also are there any Norwegian brands that we should know of?
Also tricks for taking out a pris without the SOB breaking into pieces.

i dont think Americans have realy been around snus long enough to come up with slang for it yet .. im sure one day we are/will be using: pinch for pris and nugget or chunk for prilla

some people jokingly? or not call portions "tampons"
