    Good choices?

Hey guys! So, my story is pretty simple. I've been using American snuff for about 2 years now, primarily Copenhagen. I love the stuff, but I've always heard about snus being a better alternative.

So, I walk into the local tobacco store about a week ago and they had some of the new camel snus. I picked up each of the flavors and I must say, not having to spit is amazing .

So from there, I watched Storms videos (awesome btw storm) and found this site. After reading about all the different brands and whatnot I put in my order. One tin of Ettan, General, Knox and Skruf Stark (all los).

Basically my question is what do you guys think of those for a first order? I'm trying to find something that is close to the natural taste like Copenhagen, but without all the chemical taste. Lemme know what you think and if you have any suggestion on what else to try!

sounds like a good order. If you want, try dipping cope up top and you will find you don't need to spit.

Actually used to do that when my bottom lip would get annoyed at me for doing it all the time, I didn't need to spit much, but still once in awhile I would get that urge.

Oh and BTW, I just tried making camel snus (what I have left) los by taking it out of the bag...bad idea LOL.

As an ex copenhagen user (snuff), I can tell you the first thing you will notice is how much more subtle the flavor is at first. Snus is amazing compared to dip. The second thing is copenhagen snuff is a lot coarser than any los snus. The Ettan is a clean but subtle tobacco flavor. General has a slight lemon characteristic to it and the Skruf has a floral (but very good) flavor to it. Haven't tried the Knox los yet, but the portions are awesome. On your next order try a tin of Grov.

Welcome to the forum, snusitup. I used snuff for 4 and a half years. I used Cope snuff quite a bit. The closest comparisons I can make to it from my experience are General and Grove Los, like Tony said, but they're still so much different and much more enjoyable. I myself, like the portions more. Lucky Strikes. They're just much more convenient and clean. Anyway, Good luck with the snusing. I think you'll find it too be a much better alternative to snuff.

Grov was actually another one I was thinking about, but I figured I would save that for my next order. Good to hear someone else suggest it!
