Swedish Airport Security searched my bag

So I got back from Stockholm today.

before getting on the flight home at Svanska Airport going through security my flight case went through the scanner then a security woman came out and asked me to open the case.

then she lifted 1 of the 4 Ettan and Grovsnus kardus packs I got and said "oh its snus' she laughed and let me go.

It must have looked like blocks of semtex of something in the X-ray

So my swag on this trip was

2 x ettan kardus
2x grovsnus kardus
1 stainless steel snus can with Prima Snus, for Svenska Viking etched on the lid.
Ettan Winter Hat
2 rolls of General White
2 rolls of Ettan Lös
1 roll of N&J below zero
1 roll of General Green Harvest
1 roll of the new catch raspberry
1 roll of american general classic
1 roll of american nordic mint

I could have purchased more but did not want to exceed my weight quoto of my carry on case on the plane as I also had my laptop in the case.

But not a bad haul.

My swedish snus runs will be every 2 or 3 months. So this is how I will get my SM products most of my other brands I can get online.

Snusify, do you have to pay some sort of tax when you get back home,
arrive at the airport with that amount of snus?

I doubt that he would have to seeing as it is legal to import snus into most of the EU countries :-)
At least as far as I know if you cross the border with tobacco under a certain weight you aren't charged anything.

The tax is paid at the point of sale.

The new catch raspberry like most of SM's fruity catch flavours is ok. Nothing will come close to the Rhubarb snus they made last year.

For sure! Ah yeah, that's right... you went to the Swedish Match factory in Kungälv, right? Where did you stay during your visit? It seems like the Scandic Hotels are your favorite hotels.

I think it was a limited edition. They seem to release some flavors every year as limited editions, but if it sold great quantities of it I figure they would keep it. Never got to try it myself either though so I don't know if it was good or bad.

the catch fruit flavours are rotated every quarter. The product is marketed towards women but I think SM should realise that maybe we are ready for an extra sterk fruit snus.

I hear Jacobbsons may soon be realising an extra strong fruit snus.

That trip was by invitation so all the hotels were booked by Swedish Match.

I wish I had the money to stay in Scandic hotels every time I visited but they are expensive. On my last trip to Gothenburg I stayed in a smaller hotel. But in order to make trips to sweden cost effective on a snus run I need to avoid all hotel bills and crash on someone's floor. I have got that sorted for subsequent trips to Stockholm.
