Ekstra Sterk now Extra Strong?

The recent Buysnus free shipping deal was the incentive I needed to load up on some old favorites as my pre PACT stockpile was nearly depleted

It is all in the title. When did the General Ekstra Sterk language change?

Or is this only for what is shipped to the US?

Are the Swedes angry at the Norwegians? If so what did the Norwegians do?

The Norwegian Edition on the side of the can is also gone....I made a point of pointing that out to every Norwegian I met.

I like the term sterk better. Makes it more traditional for me and reiterates the fact I'm not using an American product which is good sometimes.

Swedish Match has replaced the words "Ekstra" and "Sterk" with "Extra" and "Strong". It all boils down to marketing -- there is no conflict between Sweden and Norway, thankfully.

I don't have much to add to this but I liked "Ekstra" and "Sterk" better.

As a Norwegian I would like to point out that there is ALWAYS a conflict between Norway and Sweden. I mean, it's Sweden? It's full of swedes... The world's worst people.. I know they make great snus but it just about stops there.
