Yeah, I made that comment prior to learning that it was portion only
Yeah, it is a real shame there's not a loose version.

I am guessing that there is no loose for the same reason that there is no green loose. I am sure that if they could make it and it be able to taste good/retain its intended flavor there would be a loose.

I rather guess that they just go after newbies, who - for what crazy reason ever - seem to be 99% portion-only-users. Yeah, even in this forum, that's maintained by the manufacturer of a lössnus-tool, most "my first order"-posts solely name portion-brands.

There certainly still is a huge lössnus-market, but it's probably hard to have success with new loose-brands for a new manufacturer, given that Swedish Match sells some real classics and still has 90% of the market, in Sweden anyway. Even Swedish Match discontinued N&J lös, I guess because most lössnus-users stick with the classic brands, mainly Ettan, General, Grovsnus and Röda Lacket.

In other words, I guess there is MUCH more reason to fear, that a new loose-brand could be a commercial failure, than to fear that the snus only tastes good, when put in a teabag.

I must admit that I'm deeply disappointed, that Jakobssons's only comes in portions and I'm not sure, if I'll ever try it. Anyway, I'm looking forward to the first reviews.

        Cheers!
