                    Lmao..

Worse comes to worse I'll use nasal snuff exclusively. If they shut down shipments from Mr Snuff I'll use we garrett snuff exclusively. They stop selling that I'll start smoking again.

Please note that we can only offer UPS as shipping method to the USA. This is because we need an adult signature upon delivery. Moreover, UPS costs are so high because this is a DDP (delivery & duty paid) shipment. All this is a consequence of the PACT Act, a US law enacted in 2010.

What's going on with Wisconsin? It is no longer listed in the pull down menu of states at Northerner. I don't know of any new laws from WI.

Stubby....sadly the situation with Wisconsin is a bit more permanent. They have a law on the books that states that online sales of tobacco products are prohibited. The funny part is that they issued the license, and took our tax payments and realized we were selling online, then "politely" asked us to quit, lol.

I'm working on a few chain stores in that state to lessen the blow to our customers in WI. If you know of any stores you think would do well with snus, and especially stores you already purchase from...let me know. I'll get our products into their hands. Thanks and sorry bud ;-)

I have been following the legal situation in Wisconsin as far as tobacco goes for over 2 years and have never heard, seen, or know of any Wisconsin law that would prohibit the sale of smokeless tobacco over the internet as long as state taxes are paid. Well... at least as far as I know. They may have ask you to quit but it is very likely not illegal. I fear you are being taken for a ride on that one. Ask them to actually point to the law as I can't find it, or have ever heard of it.

Other then that I would suggest Tobacco Outlet Plus in the Madison area. I don't know if they are in other parts of the state but it's the only tobacco specific chain store in the area. They have decent prices and are professionally run. I would like to suggest Knuckleheads which have a store in both Madison and Milwaukee. I'm not personally fond of the folks who run the place but they do carry a large selection of different tobacco products. I used to buy all my RYO cigarette tobacco there. They are listed by SM as a seller of General snus but I have't visited the place in a few years (since I started using swedish snus). The last thing I bought there was some camel SNUS about 2 1/2 years ago. Both of those would be worth checking out.

I wouldn't even mind paying the very high WI taxes on smokeless as from my understanding V2 is a low tax snus. Just to save on shipping and have it readily available is worth something.

Edit: Did a google search and found Tobacco Outlet Plus stores in Madison, Milwaukee, Appleton, Green Bay, among other places in WI. Go for it.

It is so great that you are here for us Rick, thank you! How do you keep up with all the laws all over the country? Do you ever sleep?

Here's a serious question for those of you who pay taxes up front, via US based distributors: Is it your understanding that if you did not purchase through a US distributor and therefore did not pay tax up front, in the event that you got hit later with a bill for unpaid taxes, the bill would amount to more than what you would have paid up front? In other words, is it your expectation that in addition to the unpaid taxes, they would attempt to collect a penalty as well? That is not my understanding, but please do share with me yours. If one expects the possibility that the government will attempt to collect only the unpaid taxes at a later date, and not further penalize you with some fees... please tell me why you are not simply waiting to see if paying becomes necessary, since you would be paying the same amount later if called upon than you do voluntarily each time you order.

To me that's kind of like preemptively enlisting before you get drafted.
