If you like Montecristo, you may like Jakobsson's Classic(not the strong!). It has similar characteristics, but not as "dark" tasting. It's a bit brighter, and has some orange notes.

Sorry but i havent tried granit or general so i dont know. Thunder is ok it tastes like toothpaste i got 5 cans free from northerner but i think the los is nicer. I tend to buy little and often 1 roll at a time i have never had a problem and all the tax is added at the point of sale i believe.

If you order from Northerner U.S you could have problems with customs because you don't pay tax. It's unlikely though. I think you can get General from the U.S but it's a two week delivery time.

If you order from Northerner Sweden customs cannot touch you because you've paid tax on it.

If you order from www.odenssnus.com a roll of Extreme is £10.00 cheaper than Northerner and it will reach you in 4 days. Tax is paid.

Your best bet is to get a friend to deliver it to you. If you keep the rolls delivered to one at a time I can't see customs being at all interested. Get them to mark it as chewing tobacco and as a gift on the declaration form at the post office.

I have never had a problem getting snus to the UK even though it looked at one point as if there was going to be a very serious problem with that.

In my opinion it's good to order from the US and take the chance. Snusify said that about 1/2 in 10 orders get stopped and the bill wasn't that much. He just had to pay the post office a few quid. So you're getting half price snus most of the time. I just haven't done it because I don't want to wait 2 weeks for delivery, and if there's a Northerner issue it could turn out to be a month wait. I'm getting it from GN for a tenner less than Northerner Sweden anyway.

Every shop, from grocery to small "hole in a wall" shops have the Swedish Match refridgerator filled with delicious snus. Granit I recon since they sell it in quite many places. The cans on the northerner all look like a techno/rave-party folktale of swedish viking myths..haha..

I ordered snus to my mother in UK from Northerner and it came through no problem. They add all the necessary taxes before it's sent so surely there shouldn't ever be a problem at customs?

Snus bought in Europe is paid at the point of sale i.e. Sweden so there'll never be a problem with customs.
