Should I buy White or Regular portions.

I am ready to buy more snus... and want to try some I haven't...

I am considering is whether to get the white vs. the regular portions. Right now I have a white portion in and it is fine. It is Gotesborg Rape. I did throw away my Gotesborg Rape #2 because I thought it went bad. It just didn't taste good to me anymore. I also threw away some regular portions that I had left in my computer bag for a while, N&J, Ettan, General etc.

For example, Lucky Strike. Is there a strikingly different taste to the white vs the regular portions? Same for RL etc? I do like my snus to stay preserved, and figure the white portions will stay better in my pocket. Is this the consensus? Buy buying mostly white portions, do you miss out on robustness of taste? I don't mind at all the fact that the regular portions leak, because I use regular dip and do not fear the juice........ So whats recommended for a guy like me who just wants to carry around a tin till its gone and not worry about it. Can I do that with Regular and keep it in my pocket?

If you're looking to carry around your snus in your pocket all day, I would suggest going with the white portion. They were designed to "keep" in your pocket longer than a regular portion, and they're a little easier on your stomach. Flavor wise, I think they taste just as good as regular portion with less drip. Also, the regular portions will dry out quicker, I think. You can fix this, however, by placing a piece of apple or spraying a little bit of water in the can and leaving it closed in the fridge for 48 hours.

Two weeks ago I would have told you how much whites suck. But, after trying out N&J West, I am coming around to them. Much better for sneaking at work, the flavor is slow but tasty and the nic is still electric.

After 15 months of snusing. I find myself gravitating to the whites now. I like the more muted flavor, and how long they last. I loved Lucky Strikes for a long time, and then suddenly, they were getting too strong for me. The Lucky Strike Whites are now a favorite of mine.

Just go ahead and get a bunch of different things and see what you like. then six months later, do the same thing. Your tastes WILL change over time.

White vs. Original seems to pretty much be a personal thing. I started with white portions and liked them at first, but then went with original portions on my second order and liked them better.

The main difference is that original portions run more, get jucier faster, and the taste will be more pronounced more quickly. That's ok with me, because I like a nice tobaccoey flavor burst now and then, and I'm a lower-lipper when it comes to portions.

The only other thing I didn't care for with white portions is that they seem to have a tendency to rupture more easily, believe it or not. I've not had an original portion blow out on me yet, and I play around with them quite a bit.

The other thing to bear in mind with original portions is that, especially if you're a lower-lipper, is that since original portions run more, there is a distinct possibility that you'll get too much nicotine too fast. I've ended up with a bad case of the 'Niccups' more times than I care to recall that way.

I would say order a few of your favorites this time in both white and original, and see what you think.
