Are You Right Faced or Left? And If So......Why?

I always want to put my portion or pinch in my left side. I have to practically force myself to put it in the right and it’s never as comfortable. I find this neurologically very interesting. I’m left handed. Yet, from reading here I see a lot of people, which I assume are right handed, like it in the left upper deck as well. Are we hard-wired for this? What gives?

I am a new snuser, but for whatever reason the portion always seem to fit nicely on my left side (right side as you are looking at me). If I put in a snus with out much thought it will always default to the left. When I want to go to the right side, I almost have to say it to myself before I throw in my portion. Upper left is the rulz.

It is indeed interesting. Perhaps, like you imply, this is a brain hemisphere issue akin to being more inclined with one's right or left brain. I know that the major reason I enjoy nicotine is that it gives my intellect a bit of afterburner, especially with problem-solving activities like crosswords or making music. So maybe snus on the left aids the right hemisphere?

Always upper left for me. No matter what I do, I cannot keep a pris together on my right side. On the left, I can flip and squeeze a pris of Los like a portion. Odd huh?

Upper left is the easyest, it just slides right in like it was meant to.(right handed). I do, however, switch sides every time I put a portion in. The upper right side requires two hands, some lip pulling and tounge repositioning to get comfortable.

The upper left seems more natural for a portion for some reason. I am right handed as well and have to work at placing it in the right side.

I like to alternate with every portion. My thinking is that the other side of the lip gets to "refresh" itself, instead of constantly being bombarded. Probably just a placebo-thought.

odd.... i'm right top, but not really front, i find myself kinda off to the side, starting the FRONT end of the portion even with the pointy tip of my right top canine tooth and laying back from there towards my right molars

I always seem to put it left as well. I really have to think to put it right. If I go lower lip then I go right though. Primarily, I go left on the snus.

Same here, but I do prefer the left :^P I change every time, but I'm happiest in the left position :^)

I used to always used to prefer the right front. However, since I always switched sides every time I can't say I think there's much of a difference now. I now just try to remember where it was last (often that's easy because I'm chain snusing) and I switch to the other side. I'm an engineer for a living (very math oriented) so maybe I'm wired backwards from most (well OK, I am crazy as a side note ).

I am definitely a right front kind of guy. Putting it anywhere else feels clunky and I feel like people are looking at me wondering what the hell is in my mouth.

Right front is like second nature, if I feel with my tongue it seems like there is more room there compared to the left!

I sometime forgo the lip and put a pris under one of my eye lids. Since I am left eye dominant, I find the right eye is better when I am driving. At home while watching TV I perfer the left eye lid, since there is not much worth watching on TV these days.

This explains why I wear sun glasses a lot.

Once at a wedding I started to cry, because weddings are traggic you know. As the brown ooze ran down my face an usher quickly escorted me out of the church saying I was shit faced. Wow, go figure.

When I first started using snus, it was most comfortable for me to use snus on the front right side of my mouth. Now I alternate between the left and right with every new portion or pris. Keeps my gums and the inside of my upper lip from getting sore. I am equally comfortable with both sides.
