When is the last time you saw google, yahoo or any other major player with dark backgrounds?

As far as images go... I use photobucket. It only takes a few seconds to cut, paste and get the code.

    Just my 2 cents.
It doesn't /have/ to be dark, but that's what I use. Any site I frequent, I get a dark style sheet for it. Nobody made anything for SnusOn, so I had to do it myself :^D

Different themes would be good, regardless of color, and it's a good creative outlet.

As far as stock dark sites go. Here's one I use all the time. They have a dark, and light theme available by default...

Oh... I think I know what you are talking about... allowing users to pick their backgrounds. I agree, that would be great!

Yes, I agree that theming would be pretty cool. I'd love to be able to switch between a darker background for when I am sitting at home at night in the dark and a lighter theme for when I am at work, etc. Easy stuff in ASP.NET but not sure ho it works in php.

When typing your reply, press and hold left click for a second or so. That seems to be the kick in the ass needed to get spell check working. There's some new scripting addons that I find irritating. The auto-save feature, as well as the check for leaving a page when you've typed something are kind of irritating.

Yea the visually impaired have a problem with dark backgrounds and small print. That blue cross looks like a sword tho. Throw a tin next to it and we have a midevil knights theme. I know you like to fool around with this stuff. Ah hem....you have the time I suppose. Keep postin em tho cuz I don't mind a change. As long as I can read it. Come up with a few and maybe we can all vote on it. Its your ball game mate.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

I can't do this kind of stuff :^D

I have an embarrassing amount of time invested in the broken theme I have :^D

I got rid of the blinding white, and said "good enough". If anyone wants the stylesheet, I have it here in a .txt file...

Like I said, it's pretty broken, with some ugly stuff, but it would be easy to play around with the colors I changed. Just do a global replace on the background. I left most of the stuff cause I mainly wanted to get rid of the white. I'll probably fool with it again in the future, but it's slow going, especially since I don't know what I'm doing. I just pick out elements using Firebug, and try to change them, while hoping I don't break something else in the process.

OK......so I started to fiddle around a bit.......nothing happened when I left clicked...............however when I right clicked with my cursor in the text box...........I got a drop down menu that included "iespell settings" and "check spelling".......after pushing a bunch of buttons in the settings and lord knows what else.....it is finally working

I know most of the images on Google come hosted from snusphotos.com, which I think is a Northerner site, but they don't have an index page. I think it's a pretty good idea.

I agree there is plenty choice as far as product review. I believe this site has the best.....more perspectives=better detail. That being said, I also think there is room for modification.

Being a relative newcomer to this strange new world of snus, member reviews are still a major influence on my purchases. It is also very interesting to revisit the section and make comparisons after the fact.

The missing link, (unknown thus far) to me, is product categorization in relation to dominate flavor. As a newbie, finding my taste preference has taken time....... That is rewarding. The search for similar snus purchase options also takes time......That's not always necessary.

It doesn't have to be long-winded. A simple divisible chart attached to a sticky in the review section. A category for tobacco flavored snus, one for bergamot, etc, etc. Additional space for brief comments such as "complex or "slow delivery", could aid the potential customer. Any other information, if needed, could be easily garnered in the detailed review of the product.

Many newer, "non traditional" snus versions are identified by their label. Self explanatory and easily grouped. If a person is partial to licorice for example, he/she could easily find what options/brands are currently available.

If somebody has the time and is so inclined it would be useful. IMO this sticky could be a freeway to the review threads. After all, aren't we the society that wants everything easier?

how about a page where users select several snuses they like, and some that they dislike. this info could be used to build a database, and after some time it would be able to recommend new snus for you to try based on similar users likes and dislikes.

I probably wouldn't use the site myself, but if you want an easy to remember domain name, my ownership of ohgodnot.me expired a couple weeks ago, and I don't have the money to renew/skills to use it, so if nobody snatched it up, you're welcome to it.

I started on this a while back as an excel spreadsheet. I thought it'd be a great idea, sort by flavor/strength/etc. It'd be a great tool! It was just MUCH more work than I had time for myself, but somebody should do this someday. I think it'd be a wonderful tool, if maintained and kept up to date.
