EU snus ban - the state of affairs

John Dalli has spoken with the Swedish trade minister and promised to have another look at the snus-ban.

Needless to say that I don't have high hopes. How can his majesty, the unfailable EU-commissioner Dalli ever have the need to review something that he or one of his holy predecessors have decided? That's something impossible!

My faith in politicians in long lost, but at least we now have some news again regarding the political crime that's called the EU-snus-ban.

They properly never lift that ban down in the EU(SSR) headquarter. But it´s christmas soon and maybe Santa Barosso has snus in his giftbag!

Just to keep things in perspective, it was UK lobbying for EU snus ban in the first place because of evil Skoal bandits were killing British kids in droves. This is well documented and mentioned in threads here too.
Maybe David Cameron stands up, apologizes and recants and uses veto to repeal snus ban, which was caused by UK in the first place.
