I was just looking at my past Buysnus orders, and going with a rough count I have about 230 tins of snus in my freezer :^O I hope the snus makers don't come up with yet another brand I /have/ to have :rolls eyes:

That much snus would take me like a year and a half or something to go through.

Is there some sort of apocolypse or collapse of civilisation approaching that I'm unaware of and if so, will you take a check?

230 cans would even last a chainsnuser like me nearly 2 full years.
lxskllr, I'm surfing around german snus-forums a lot and you find fellow snusers there, who are snusing for 20 years (Swedish Match did some promotion in the 80's in Germany, at that time I unfortunately believed the bogus-propaganda by the anti-tobacco-workers). I never read, that anyone has frozen snus for more than a year, so I'm really not sure, if your snus will still be useable after so long time. I only once read a posting by someone, who has found a two years old totally dried snus, that was still useable after some 'remoistening', but dried food stays edible much longer than frozen food.
I guess, in two years you'll be the only snuser on the world, who really knows if snus can be frozen for so long time. I can only hope that you won't have to throw away half of your stock.
I made the mistake to order a half-years-supply, when I was new to snus. Snus that is 3 months past the expiration date is still useable, it doesn't taste bad, even if it was only kept in the fridge, but it's no way the same as fresh snus. I won't make that mistake again.
Anyway, good luck with your stock, but if I were you, I wouldn't stock up anymore, at least not full rolls of new brands.
Cheers!

lxskllr, LOL, you make me feel better. I had 60 or so tins in the freezer, now down to about 27 with about 8 or 9 in my fridge. I just ordered 15 more cause I had to try all the new great stuff that is out.
But I think 60 is my limit. That is about a 4 month supply for me, and gives me all the variety I need. Besides, I need to keep some room in the freezer for actual food.

I will say in lxskllr's defense, that us American snusers have to wait 7-5 days for delievery. Now does that mean we need 200 cans in the freezer? Thats not for me to judge. I do feel that when you get a hair up your ass for a certain kind snus, and you don't have any on hand it really blows. For example, I got 1 can of Grov in my very first order. I forget to get any in my second order. Now I am really jonesin for some right now. I made a 3rd order a yesterday and included 3 cans of Grov among others. I like trying new brands, but don't ever want to be without some General, Grov, or Ettan on hand. So now I am getting stocked up on my "meat & potatoes" snus. Just my .02.
