Your entitled to your opinion Experimental Monkey as is every one here, we,re all adults, but to answer your question as to why there are so many GN loyalists at Snuson? Which I can only answer for myself. 1. When the EU ban on Snus came in, us Europeans became severely limited in our choice of what we could buy Snus wise. GN then started up Odenssnus.com so we would have a store to get Snus when the shit was hitting the fan. That was an amazing thing to do, and i will be forever grateful to GN for doing it. And 2. GN is just a great bloke. He really cares about his customers, now that's very rare don,t you think? He has a good heart. And I,m very proud to call him my friend. And speaking of opinions, I happen to love GN's snus, but that's just me. Each to his own.

Experimental Monkey, it seems strange to me to be told by a fellow snuser what I "need" as far as a level goes. I find little logical difference between that and being told by an anti that I don't need any at all.

I'm not trying to tell anyone what to do, sorry if it came across like that. I've been a heavy stark user and personally I'd like to get my tolerance down if only for the reason of making it solely off snus that will be widespread soon and avoiding online ordering... even if it isn't banned.

What would we have in the stores to choose from then? The bojank American snuses, General in specialty shops, and hopefully Ettan and the new Classic Blend and Nordic Mint in gas stations if SM's plans work out. All at 8mg or below. And to be honest, 8mg is all a person needs after 6 months to a year of getting off smokes and used to snus.
Instead of worrying about nicotine, GN, place your focus on finding flavor profiles that hit with the masses. Because I'm sorry, but most are not blown away by how Extreme tastes. I HATE green pepper taste in snus. It was okay at first but now I'm sitting on over 20 cans of GN snus I can't use because the taste of Extreme makes me sick and 69 and the Olde Vikings taste fake and chemical-ish. One guy on Northerner said it best: Olde Viking reminds me of a urinal cake.
I may get flamed for being honest because theres a ton of GN loyalists here. Why? I don't know. Most requests made to this guy have fell on deaf ears while he plans out how addicted he can get Americans to nicotine. Why are we not even offered the new Lakrits 8 mg portions?
KAPISH??????

30's too much for me man. But hey, I am all for freedom of consumption for consenting adults. What I mean is, I support an adult's right to choose what he or she puts in his/her body. If it could result in some harm, then let folks know the risk and make the decision on there own. Afterall, 100 proof liquor is sold legally in the US.

ESTOC (European smokeless tobacco manufacturers) have made a new guide, which so of it members will put on there snus cans in 2012.

Well Mr GN. I remember a lot here (including me) said 'no way' when you announced 22mg Extreme but quite a few of us just had to try it when it came out :-)

Originally posted by Experimental MonkeyI understand that. If you feel like you need 22 or 30 mg of nicotine go ahead man. But if snus suddenly became unable to get online are you able to cope with nic withdrawals, using 2-3 regular strength portions at a time, or going back to smoking/dip?

I normally use sterks or more but regular strength works well for me, too, without the need for double barreling. As for the future, it will take care of itself so I refuse to get my knickers in a twist about it.

I may be the freak here, so forgive me in advance. I use 2 portions of OE at once (sometimes 3) and never even come close to feeling overloaded. I have given pouches of OE to people who have never smoked or dipped before and they have very mild to moderate reactions. Many seem to think this stuff is INSANELY strong. It really isn't. It has a great sustainable flavor, and an extremely SLOW nicotine release. It is like having an 8mg portion that lasts a VERY LONG TIME. I personally think you should keep the current extreme as-is for those who have grown to love it's flavor and long-lasting nicotine release. But, instead of going overboard with an even higher nicotine snus that will have the same low PH and slow nicotine release; I'd suggest offering something like Oden's Extreme+ (i dunno what to name it... im no marketing guru). But bump the PH a bit, Make it hit as hard as one would expect from a 22mg snus. Make me break a sweat and say HOLY SHIT! NOW THAT IS EXTREME! As for the complaints on the flavor? Don't change a thing! The original OE is FANTASTIC!
All this being said, I just finished off the last of 30 cans of OE being used 2-3 portions at a time since can #1. So don't feel like this is a blind observation made after only a can or two.
