I really like the flavor of pioneer, But the only problem I have with pioneer is that it seems at least for me to be lacking in the nicotine department and is listed as Nicotine: 6,2 mg/g which would account for why i feel it to be weaker when I put a pris in.

I give the edge to Phantom Brown Los because the nicotine is listed as Nicotine: 8 Mg/g and has a lot of the same notes of chocolate as Ettan....

These factors should also be considered when choosing between the 2 IMO..

Perhaps. I don't really notice nicotine as long as it's in a certain range. Anything from 6mg-10mg is all the same to me. Higher than 10mg, and sometimes it feels too strong. I don't have much experience below 6mg since I don't use minis, or small prises of lös. The minis I have had I change out quicker, but that's due more to flavor loss than perceived nicotine need.

Phantom Brown. I love it. But didnt know cans are going to 40 g. That sucks. Are the portions staying a nice fluff and full 1 g? And I agree, I'm not buying Swedish Match anything from here on out. I refuse. When I window shop now and plan my next order I skip over everything SM on the webshops. Jakobssons and V2 for me here on out.

Hell ya Eric. Just got a fresh roll of Ettan Los, Ettan Portion, and some Scruf. Happy day!

I've been doing a lot of Phantom Brown lately as a potential replacement for Grov, and I've really liked it. The taste is great, and (as Xobe noted when we talked) there's a little juniper hint to it which is actually kind of nice.

I'm looking for a replacement for Ettan too. But I use portions. Those white portions era amazing.

I've ordered Camel original and Lucky Strike. They are very good but...it's not Ettan. For my daily consumption I need a simple, pure tobacco snus. Nothing too sophisticated...I think that's the secret of Ettan.

What do you think? Is phantom brown portions close enough to give it a try? And Pioneer there are portions?

                Any other suggestions are welcome.

I'm out of the portion scene, and have never had Phantom brown portion, but based on the lös, that'll be the closest. There just isn't much in the plain category. The alternative would be making portions out of Pioneer, but it might be too subtle.

So where does one purchase Pioneer these days? It seems to have disappeared from the internet vendor scene...

Northerner is the only vendor that carries it.

They're out of stock, and something tells me 7-14 days from now they will be too.
