    Another EU snuser in trouble

Hi guys, I really need some advice. I believe that many of the EU snusers are facing the same problem and many of them have already asked for your help. Anyway here it goes:

I’ve been snusing for over a year now. It was definitely the best thing that happened to me in 2011.
I’ve tried lots of different snus pouches (I’ll put a photo soon with my can collection) but my favourites are without any doubt Ettan and General. I use both daily.
Yesterday I checked my fridge and I was out of General and Ettan. I started looking through the usual places (buysnus, northerner, snus.de, snuson shop) and I realized there’s apparently no way I can order them anymore since I’m from EU. Damn politics..
So, I was wondering if you guys could help to choose some available snus that are similar, I mean, some plain tobacco snus like Ettan and other that can be similar to General.
I know that’s kind of a subjective request but I’m really needing your help my friends.

    Thanks

HI mate. Since all this crap started i've gone back to Granit, Phantom classic and brown, Gringo is a new one, Odens original classic is good. LD original is ok, it has a bit of bergamot but so does general if i remember right. i've also just been given a heads up on pioneer. Yeah, it's a bummer if you love the SM stuff but it's not all bad

Try http://Odenssnus.com You won,t be disappointed. Their Snus is fantastic. Ever since the EU ban they,ve being great in helping us in Europe get Snus. Might not be General or Ettan, but Their Snus is just as good imo.

If you like General - I really recommend Granit as a substitute. Ettan - that's harder, but if you look at snus2 they have bulk tubs of different varieties of lös snus with similar names to the swedish match that they're copying. Cheap too!

        Kapten Hansson = General
        Coarse Snus = Grov
Göta Älvs Blåa = Göteborgs Rapé
Fine Grain Loose = Prima Fint / Ettan

I haven't tried these, but they look interesting.

Good Luck in finding your replacements!

I'm a big Ettan fan and although it isn't the same Phantom Classic or Phantom Classic Brown would be my choice

wow, lots of answers in a few hours. Thanks guys.

I've never tried Phantom classic or Brown. That's something I really should look into.

I still have one can of Odens ES in the freezer. I didn't liked very much but I only tried 1 ou 2 pouches. I think it's about time to give it another try.

                I've heard you PP. Cool.

Try Jakobssons Classic for a General replacement. Olde Viking Original is very good also. Ettan is a tough one, but if you'll do lös, Pioneer is very good. I also like Phantom Brown lös, but can't vouch for the portions.

Screw Swedish Match. They stuck a knife in your backs, and don't deserve your business. I wouldn't buy their products if they became available today. Support the companies that have supported you. It's in all our best interests to do so, and it's just the right thing to do.

                    I understand what you mean.
I don't know what happened with SM. I thought that someone had screwed them.

Phantom classic los makes up about 80% of my los stash, although it's not Ettan, it's not bad stuff mate

I was looking at these at (snus2 (dot) se) the other day, they do look good for the money. I didn't know that they're copying, that makes it more interesting i think

                      EDIT:

I just did a mock order for ...

x2 400gram pots with shipping to the UK of ...

Göta Älvs Blåa = Göteborgs Rapé

£50 !! that's half the cost of two rolls of Phantom classic

don't they require you to use UPS?

I was looking at Kapten Hansson, but the shipping put me off.

It feels like Chad got some money from snus2 to write some articles though.

I just made an order from snus.de.

As a replacement for General and Ettan portions I ordered Granit, Camel and Lucky Strike. Two cans of each just to try out.

I was tempted to order Phantom brown but the reviews made me think twice. Maybe in the next order I'll put a can or two in the basket.

I've been using the Oden's Extreme can I had in the freezer in the past few days and although almost everybody loves it, It's been difficult for me to like it. As someone said it's like liking an ashtray. And after 2 or 3 portions I start feeling headaches and nauseated. Maybe the nicotine is too much or is just that flavour that just don't do well with me.
