When I was 15 years old and heavily into freak magazine and listening to Pink Floyd my friends and I believed that smoking the pith from inside a banana would get you high. So I took the banana pith dried it and put the substance into a baggie.

My mother found this baggie with a powdered substance inside it inside my coat pocket.

"Son come here right now" she said

"what is this I found in your pocket?" "are you on drugs?"

"No it is dried banana" I said

"don't you like to me" she said etc

I had to spend a long time explaining myself.

I tried it when i was younger, it's a rumour by the big banana producers, they called it "yellow haze"

From a small 'rip-off' corner shop you could pay that, but from a big store like Tesco, maybe around £1.20 for a pack of 4 value bananas. For a fairtrade pack it's around £1.40 ish ....maybe 3 or 4 in a pack

and you can pay as much as $2.50 in carrefour, metro, maritimo, ikea, auchan and some other large chain supermarkets.

when i was about 15 (a long time ago) someone talked me into eating nutmegs. believe me its not fun and i tripped bad and go sick. I would not talk an enemy into trying nutmeg. since i have read it's poison too and some kids dye trying it. i never tried banana smoking but did smoke a lot of rabbit tobacco when i was 8-10 but it just makes you cough.
